The "Chassidus & Sushi" weekly program is a unique and impactful event that takes place every Thursday evening.
This program fosters a dynamic environment for Chassidus learning and the cultivation of strong, meaningful relationships between chavrusa’s. Material is prepared weekly, such as a sicha, however, students can choose to study any area in chassidus that interests them. A delectable spread of sushi is served, further enriching the learning experience.
As the evening progresses, the gathering often concludes with lively singing and dancing. Many of the bochurim and students foster deep and lasting relationships, creating a positive and transformative impact on all involved.
Despite its existence before our time at YU, we integrated this program into our umbrella organization and elevated its impact, leading to unprecedented attendance levels and improved organization. Furthermore, this endeavor has provided a valuable platform for networking and cultivating robust student relationships.
